2. (a) The National Memorial symbolises the nation’s respect for the martyrs of the Liberation War will be preserved in the museum to ever remind our countrymen and all who visit the museum of freedom loving people’s sacrifice,

3. The National Memorial at Savar is a symbol of the nation’s respect for the martyrs of the war of liberation. It has been achieved at the cost of blood. There are actually a series of 7 towers that rise by stages to a height of 150 feet. The towers stand for an achievement which is immeasurable. It has helped us to stand upright in honour and dignity amongst the nations of the world. The relies in the museum remind that the weapons of freedom are stronger than the oppressors and man is born to be free. Several graves close to the memorial are the most touching sight of the complex.
