Coming along (= To make progress, or to achieve something) Example: HowÕs Kathleen coming along with her swimming? 2. Come through (=To make progress after a difficult or dangerous experience) Example: He is still under anesthetic after the operation, but he has come through very well. 3. Fight off (= To defend or protect yourself) Example: The woman managed to fight off her attackers. 4. Wear off (= To disappear, or to stop existing or happening) Example: The numbness in his shoulder was starting to wear off. 5. Feel up to doing something (= To be, or to feel healthy) Example: I donÕt feel up to eating anything. 7.
