নিত্য নৈমিত্তিক আরও কিছু কাজের নাম এবং তাদের ব্যবহার নিয়ে আমাদের ধারাবাহিক আলোচনার আজ দ্বিতীয় পর্ব। দৈনন্দিন জীবনে বহুল ব্যবহৃত এসব কাজের ইংরেজি শব্দ ও বাক্যাংশগুলো আশা করি পাঠকদের কাজে আসবে।
1. Answer the door
Example : Rocky, my hands are wet, can you please answer the door?
2. Get the phone
Example : Would somebody please get the phone? I am in the shower.
3. Open the window
Example : Even in winter, we should open the windows once a day and keep it open at least for an hour.
4. Close/shut the door
Example : Please close the door of my room when you leave
5. Pick up the toys
Example : I am trying to teach my child to pick up his toys.
6. Clean up the room
Example : We hurriedly cleaned up our rooms when we heard that some guests are coming.
7. Clean up the mess
Example : She finished her project and then cleaned up the mess.
8. Make the bed
Example : During our cadet days, we had to make our beds flawlessly before leaving the room.
9. Move the furniture
Example : Mr. and Mrs. Jones moved their furniture to make some room for the new baby.
10. Dust the shelves
Example : During summer, we have to dust the shelves everyday.
11. Clean the tub
Example : Remember to clean the tub before putting the baby in it.
12. Do the laundry
Example : I and my brother do the laundry every alternate week.
