প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বন্ধুরা,
কেবল একাডেমিক প্রয়োজনে নয় ইংরেজি ভাষা চর্চায় Idioms and Phrases এর রয়েছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা। Idiams and phrases কে বলা হয় ইংরেজী ভাষার অলঙ্কার। এর সঠিক ব্যবহার বাক্যকে কেবল সংক্ষিপ্ত করে না ভাষাকে করে গতিশীল। তাই ইংরেজী ভাষা চর্চায় এর যথাযথ ব্যবহারে আমাদের বিশেষ আয়োজন বলা অর্থসহ Phrase and idiams:
1) Acquit- Acquit of (নির্দোষ সাব্যস্ত করা)

4) Add insult to injury (কাঁটা ঘায়ে নুনের ছিটা)

5) To add fuel to fire (মধ্যবর্তী)
His fitter remarks added fuel to fire of shamim’s anger.
6) Ad interim- (বিশেষ উদ্দেশ্য)

7) Ad hoc- (মূল অনুসারে)
An adhoc committee has been formed for the inquiry.
8) Ad valorem (সাবালক হওয়া)

10) Adept in (সুদক্ষ)
He is quiet adept in Photography.
