সংসারের নানা কাজের নাম এবং তাদের ব্যবহার নিয়ে আমাদের আজকের পর্বের আলোচনা সাজানো হয়েছে। কাজগুলো আমরা সবাই কম-বেশি প্রতিদিনই করে থাকি, তাই আসুন শিখে নেই এদের ইংরেজি শব্দগুলো।
1.Sweep the floor
Example : The support staff arrives the office before everyone else to sweep the floor.
2.Vacuum the floor
Example : They also vacuum the carpeted floor.
3.Mop the floor
Example : Once a week, they mop the floor with bleach.
4.Scrub the cooking pot
Example : Mili scrubbed the cooking pot as it was burnt.
5.Set the table
Example : Mom set the table and called us for dinner.
6.Clear the table
Example: The waiters were clearing the tables after lunch and setting them for dinner.
7.Wipe off the table
Example : She wiped off the table with soapy water to take off the grease.
8.Put the food away
Example : William said he was not feeling well and put the food away.
9.Wash the dishes
Example: On weekends, Mr. John helps his wife wash the dishes.
10.Rinse the dishes
Example : Sometimes, if the dishes are not greasy, you can only rinse them with water.
11.Dry/wipe the dishes
Example : When all the guests left, Mrs. John washed the dishes and her husband wiped them dry.
12.Clean the sink
Example : Every night after dinner, she cleans the sink thoroughly.
13.Take out the garbage/trash
Example : Mom told Jack to take out the garbage.
