SAT

The SAT is a standardi“ed assessment test taken by College Board. The SAT is a paper-based standardi“ed test that has 3 main components. Writing, critical reading and mathematics. These 3 components are divided into 2 sections, commonly known as the english section and the mathematics section. The SAT is critical for admission into undergraduate programs for universities or colleges in the US. If you just passed your A levels or HSC and want to get into a distinguished university in the US. You better start prepping for the SAT. The SAT also has a subject based test that is used for high school equivalency, although if you have given your A levels or HSC it wont be necessary for you. Hwo is it scored? It is scored on a scale of 200-800 marks per section, in 10-point increments per question. The total range of marks ranges from 400-1600. Most Universities demand 1350+, usually in Bangladesh, the target for most students is 1450+. Where is it taken and hwo often? Green Dale International school and International School of Dhaka both are registered with College Board. The tests are 3 to 4 hours long. The tests are taken seven times annually. The tests for this year are- Jan 21st, Mar 11th, May 6th and Jun 3rd as of now. For more information, the official website of SAT is sat.collegeboard.org. Fees for SAT.
