প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বন্ধুরা, কেবল একাডেমিক প্রয়োজনে নয় ইংরেজি ভাষা চর্চায় ওফরড়সং ধহফ চযৎধংবং এর রয়েছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা। ওফরড়সং ধহফ ঢ়যৎধংবং কে বলা হয় ইংরেজী ভাষার অলঙ্কার। এর সঠিক ব্যবহার বাক্যকে কেবল সংক্ষিপ্ত করে না, ভাষাকে করে গতিশীল। তাই ইংরেজী ভাষা চর্চায় এর যথাযথ ব্যবহারে আমাদের বিশেষ আয়োজন বলা অর্থসহ Phrase and idioms: 1) A to-Z- From A to Z (সম্পূর্ণ রূপে) He has studied the subject from A to Z. 2) A-1 (সর্বোচ্চ মান/গুণ সম্পন্ন) It is really A-1 3) ABC-- (সহজ এবং মৌলিক জ্ঞান) The book gives you the ABC of Engineering. 4) To abide by- (মেনে চলা, কথামত কাজ করা) He Promised to abide by what he said in his address to the public. 5) Bring to account (কৈফিয়ত দিতে বাধ্য করানো) The murderer must be brought to account. 6) By all accounts (সব লোকের মত) By all accounts he is an excellent Player. 7) On no account (কোন কারণেই নয়) On no account must you open that door. 8) Ace - (খুব সন্নিকটে) He was within an ace of success. 9) Absolve- Absolve of (মুক্ত করে দেয়া) The High court absolved the accused of all charges against him. 10) Get on -(অগ্রগতি লাভ করা) Our youngest son is getting on well at school.
