একটি দূতাবাসের ইংরেজি শিক্ষক TESL Certified English Trainer (UK) www.ziahasan.com পর্ব : ১৭৭ Stating Your Opinion আমাদের প্রতিদিনের কথা বার্তায় আমরা অহরহ নিজেদের মতামত প্রকাশ করে থাকি। ইংরেজিতে মতামত প্রকাশের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট কিছু Phrase আছে, এগুলো থেকে বহুল ব্যাবহৃত কিছু Phrase নিচে উদাহরণসহ দেয়া হল। এছাড়াও বক্তার সাথে পূর্ণ ও আংশিক ভাবে একমত হলে তা প্রকাশ করার জন্য যেসব Phrase ব্যাবহৃত হয়, সেগুলোও আলোচনা করা হল। আশা করি কাজে লাগবে। i. In my opinion (আমার মতে) : In my opinion, we should conduct a survey first to see the demand. ii. In my view (আমার মতে) : In my view conducting survey is a great idea but it will incur a lot of money. Phrase iii. To me (আমার কাছে) : Both the candidates look efficient to me. iv. From my point of view (আমার দৃষ্টিতে) : From my point of view you should let our manager informally first, and then do what he suggests. v. From my perspectiv (আমার দৃষ্টিতে): From my perspective wearing hijab is completely a personal choice, no one should have anything to say about it. vi. It seems to me (Avgvi g‡b nq): It seems to me that you have already decided to leave this job, but I would suggest you to reconsider it. সম্পূর্ণভাবে একমত প্রকাশের জন্য ব্যবহৃত শব্দঃ “আমি এই বিষয়ে আপনার সাথে সম্পূর্ণ একমত” এই বাক্যটিকে ইংরেজীতে বলতে চাইলে নিচের যে কোন ভাবেই বলা যায়ঃ ~I totally/ completely agree with your view here. ~In this regard, I couldn’t agree with you more. ~You’re absolutely right in this point. ~I agree with you 100 percent in this issue. আংশিকভাবে একমত প্রকাশের জন্য ব্যবহৃত শব্দ ঃ ~I have more or less the same view as yours. ~I have no problem agreeing with your view to some extent. ~I think you are right up to a point. ~In a way, I agree to what you are saying but there are some other considerations.
